Registration Guidelines Yoga Lessons

Due to COVID-19, we have moved our spring classes and yoga therapy sessions online. Classes are live on Mondays, and links for the recordings will be emailed to you on Tuesdays. You can also book a one-on-one yoga therapy session to create a home practice (for maintenance or therapeutic support). For pre-recorded and live online workshops, see Workshops.

How to register for online classes and yoga therapy session

Pay the class fee by PayPal (link below) or by etransfer from your online banking to wavelengths@gmail.com. If those options are unavailable to you, you could also mail a cheque (please email wavelengths@gmail.com for instructions). Click here to pay now.

Online Yoga Classes

Weekly Classes: Each Monday, from April 19 - June 29, I will offer three live yoga classes, loosely based on the same theme, for varying levels of student. You could join one or all of the classes in-person through Zoom (free download from www.zoom.us). Or, classes will be recorded and available by Tuesday morning for you to follow along at a time that works best for you. You will have access to ALL THREE CLASSES each week, plus a BONUS 15-minute movement break for all levels, a weekly community check-in call, and a weekly free guided meditation. All recorded classes will be availabe until the end of the session.

Due to internet traffic limitations, for now, all classes will take place live during the daytime. With many people being at home, daytime classes are accessible to a larger number of you. If your schedule doesn't permit you to attend live, the recordings allow you the option to choose the best time for you to practice. Classes run for approximately 60 minutes each.

Classes and times (ALL included in your one signup fee):

Mondays:
10:00 am Therapeutic/Gentle Yoga
11:30 am Intermediate Yoga
2:00 pm Gentle Yoga

Wednesdays:
6:30 pm Free guided meditation (1/2 hour) (live only, no recording)

Fridays:
9:00 am Community check-in call (live only, no recording)

Anytime:
Bonus 15-minute movement break will be offered as a weekly recording that you can do anytime.

Community Check-in call: On Friday mornings, I will host a community check-in call. This is a chance for anyone registered in any class to come together online (via Zoom), say hello, and let us know how you're doing. There's no pressure to participate. If you just want to come and listen, that's totally fine. If you have anything to offer, or need anything, this is a time to share with your community.

BONUS: 15-minute movement break. This is a short practice highlighting the week's theme and goal posture, accessible to most student abilities. It will help you to bring a little bit of yoga into each day and deepen your connection to the theme. Each week, you will receive a link for the 15-minute movement break that you can do anytime.

Payment

Cost: $180 including HST for 36 classes + 12 bonus 15-minute movement breaks, weekly check-in calls and weekly guided meditations. You can repeat the classes as often as you like and share them with others who are in self-isolation with you. (If you're able, you're welcome to register more than one person per household, but if you want or need to share access, that's fine too!) Yoga Therapy

Book a one-on-one session with Caroline to create or further develop your home yoga practice. All practices are tailored to individual needs, with many lifestyle and health factors taken into consideration.

$80 per hour plus HST (or request a reduced rate during self-isolation).

Consider booking a yoga therapy session if*:

You'd like to feel more comfortable in your body
You'd like to feel more calm in your mind
You'd like to feel more balanced in your emotions
You want a regular practice designed for you
You're recovering from illness or injury*
You want relief from back, hip or shoulder pain*


*Please consult your physician to inquire if yoga is recommended for you.

Reduced Rate Option

There are no particular discounts at this time (eg: senior/student or multiple class discounts, etc.). Please pay the full price if you're able to, using the PayPal link above, or by sending an e-transfer to wavelengths@gmail.com.

I know that many of you have either lost work or have limited income at this time, and while the costs to maintain the studio building and property remain fairly constant whether classes are at the studio or online, I invite you to offer whatever amount you're able if the full fee for the online classes is unmanageable for you at this time.
